Humans: Appearance and Nature Empty Humans: Appearance and Nature

Post by Orgoth Thu Apr 18, 2013 12:07 am

Humans are common throughout the land, and are a race of people more diverse than any other. Their physical appearances vary greatly, with skin tones ranging from pale white to dark brown and average heights being anywhere from 5ft to almost 7ft at adulthood. While they don't possess the guile and magical ability of the Eldari and the power and savagery of the Heanta, Human come into their own when faced with problems that require outside-of-the-box thinking. Their versatility and perseverance allows them to adapt to any problem that may arise, an invaluable ability in a land filled with many different challenges. As the old Eldari saying goes, "There's a Human for every task."

The ethical, moral and spiritual beliefs of Humans vary even more than their appearances. The combination of adaptability and differing beliefs means Humans maintain a sturdy but chaotic society. Humans can be found doing almost any job, be it for good or ill. There are Humans who believe in co-operation with others such as the Eldari or Asentari, others who believe in siding with sinister creatures such as the Undari and the Heanta, and yet others who would co-operate with no one. It is for this very reason that Humans are treated with a distinct trace of suspicion by the other races.

In terms of combat ability, Humans are slightly weaker than the other races due to the enhanced traits of the others. However, Humans are incredibly versatile and learn quick, so a Human of sufficient skill and experience can learn to tap in to hidden Human potential, and become a much more powerful combatant, with the increase of power becoming more pronounced the more experience the Human acquires.
