Asentari: Appearance and Nature Empty Asentari: Appearance and Nature

Asentari are commonly between 5 and 9 foot. Because of their strong human heritage, they are quite diverse in appearance, with varying skin and hair color. Its common for Asentari to have longer, sharper canines, however. Some have scales or horny protrusions on their bodies and faces, and scales, As well as black or red markings on their skin. Some Asentari even have long tails. Asentari's pupils are slitted, and eyes that match their element (red for fire, blue for cold etc.) are not uncommon amoung the race. Asentari and the Humans of Edia are a close nitted community, and its very common for asentari and humans to form unions. 9 times out of 10 the child of such a pairing will be an asentari, and there is no dilution of draconic bloodline even if this goes through several generations.

Asentari as a whole are rather reclusive. They rarely step outside the borders of Edia. But they are highly territorial and protective of the lands they call home, and the humans within those lands fall under their protection. Asentari do not have a bias or hatred towards any of the races, mainly because they have had very little dealing with them. They are curious about the world they've been secluded from, but not so much that they willing allow other races, even humans from outside their territories within their main city. While age does effect the appearance of Asentari, it is generally not until later life and can very. Some may never show signs right up until death. This is due to their draconic blood.
