Name: Diluca De Leona/size]

Sex: Male
Personality: Diluca is a calm and rational man, making him a bit of an oddball among Harbingers. More so due to how he became one. He doesn't take to his students very often, but has been seen having done so in the past, particularly with a certain prince. He knows how to get around things, and navigate through both the perils of the nobility and on the battlefield. He's an accomplished commander, a tutor, and utterly hated by most of the Junior Harbingers. But he's also someone who doesn't care about feelings of others....mostly. His students and subordinates are about the only ones he does care about. While he can be cold and calculating in getting promoted, he also does so without involving civilian lives or ruining genuinely good people's lives. He'll legitimately negotiate in good faith when necessary, and can actually sympathize and empathize with others, and understand where they're coming from. Part of why he is so respected by both Gnoll and Archon on their continent. And so far, same with on this one. Unlike others, he does plan on retiring from fighting. He's also one of the few who can handle Tartarus. Personality wise at least. He has a certain sense of responsibility, trying to make up things when he can. Such as destroying villages, then rebuilding them.

Clothing: Pretty much above. Despite their elegance, they're easy to move in and combat ready.


Fighting style



General Fighting Tactics: He's mostly a physical fighter, relying more on speed and strength than his magical ability. He can swing around his claymore like it was a standard longsword or lighter, and punch with the best of them. He is lightly acrobatic, and only uses his enchanted equipment's powers or his own when he knows he can minimize collateral damage when it matters. He's not afraid to burn down villages to get to able soldiers, but he'll stick around and help rebuild what they destroyed. He's not a simple run in, hack, and leave sort, he does have a head, and tries to pick apart plans, abilities, and the like. Mobility is how he stays alive, and his light leather armor he keeps underneath.

Strengths: Non-typical Harbinger: As he wasn't "recruited" into the program, he had a lot of life experiences and traits that no typical Harbinger would get. Including the love of a family, general planning, diplomacy, and other skills. He'll actually have reasonable demands, and answers questions, and since he was an Imperial Knight before becoming a Harbinger, and fought in a war alongside normal soldiers, has typical soldiers' respect back home. While they view other Harbingers as weapons, they view him as a person.

Chivalrous: Perhaps the greatest oddity of a Harbinger, and even most other officers in their military, Diluca has a sense of honor. A strong one too. He refuses to kill civilians, he's a helping hand to those in need, and he's something of a defender, and hero. He's well liked by people in general, and will sit down and talk with them. Even his enemies. Even so far as to fight in duels to settle things, and honoring the terms to the letter.

Weaknesses: Elemental Choice: His powers are all fire and electricity. Which doesn't always work well with the environments he often finds himself in. He hates causing unnecessary collateral damage to the environment. While his electricity parts are better at precision attacks, they do cause some fires.

Rock and a Hard Place: He genuinely likes Aether, but at the same time, he is a loyal soldier. A delicate balance going forward is something he's going to try to muster. But at the moment, his judgement is liable to get clouded. Still, he was chosen because he was one of Aether's mentors, and it was well known that the lad was fond of him.

Description: Ten small, purple lightning crows (literal electrical energy) is formed and fired. They do have some form of "sentience" in the way that they are controlled/homing. Avoiding one once doesn't mean you've seen the last of that specific one. 50 yard range

Damage Category: Average
Description: A semi-transparent red tinted wall is formed in front of him, and is crescent moon shaped. It is large enough to defend three people standing side by side, assuming the user is in the middle. It can block average attacks.

Name: Electro Snake
Type: Offensive
Damage Category: Weak x2
Description: From his hand or waist, a snake of electrical energy reaches out to bite and shock for weak damage each. Can also be used for mobility. Range is 35 feet.

Description: A swift, overhead strike, a literal lightning bolt. He must be within twenty feet of the intended target though.

Appearance: Not much changes. A red and purple aura surrounds him, and a diamond prism hovers at his back, half of it red, the other purple.


New powers



Name: Wings of Glory
Type: Support
Damage Category: N/A
Description: Red and purple bird shaped fire wings appear at his back that allow him to fly. He can't use any of his abilities/enchantments while this is active (aside from Magic Trigger), but does increase his mobility by range of movement instead of an actual buff. He flies as fast as he runs.
Cooldown: 1 power point maintenance.

Name: Great Phoenix
Type: Offensive
Damage Category: Very Strong
Description: He fires out a large fire bird much like Retribution. However, it also spreads embers and fire everywhere, literally heating up anyone within thirty feet of it, and lighting up anything flammable in that thirty feet or wherever it moves. Perfect for wide spread destruction or crowd control.
Cooldown: 6 post cooldown.

Name: Lightning Talon
Type: Offensive
Damage Category: Average
Description: From his hands or feet, he fires a bird's foot shaped blast of electrical energy, shocking and slicing with a total of average damage. The foot is as big as a basketball.

Description: A purple, semi-transparent shield forms around him, at 10 feet radius, like a dome. It can block up to a strong powered attack.

Description: He summons three large cubes that are 8 feet x 8 feet x 8 feet in any configuration he wants. They're very hot, and burns to the touch. Unless you're him. Despite their size, each one can only block 1 weak powered ability.

Background



History: Noble born on Aftokrator, pioneers in the alcohol industry. And other similar vices. Due to noble status other reasons, he avoided being drafted into the Harbinger Program. Still became an Imperial Knight. Taught many students in the art of claymore swordsmanship. Including Aether. Fought in several wars with both Gnoll and Archons, earned both races' respect. Especially due to his honor code. When Aether left, he was sad, but understanding, and secretly hoped that he would find his own path. The Royalty thought differently, but a crisis occurred, delaying action. One of the Harbingers died, he signed up for the trials, since they needed someone quick, and he was one of the few who can cool off Tartarus. He passed. Him, Tartarus, Razegul, Chi-Chi, Venticeil, and Hàoyu was sent.
